Joined London office as the first UX designer in order to establish research and design thinking in one of the product teams. In one year the team has adopted basic techniques like heuristic evaluation, usability testing, prototyping, CRAP and also advanced techniques like design studio, design sprint or atomic design approach. Corporate UX maturity scale has grown from 3 to 4 and the rest of the company has started being interested in UX evangelism too.

RefME Ltd., London

November 2015 – August 2016
Supporting and strengthening the product team consisting of product owners, researcher, UX and visual designers, to prepare for the launch of paid B2B and B2C subscription model. Responsible for prototyping and usability testing of new features and user flows in iOS, Android, web application, Chrome extension, and MS Word Plugin. Responsible for improving conversions and user promotions, maintaining visual consistency between product and marketing departments.

RefME automates the citation and bibliography process in over 7,500 citation styles. The service has over 1 million users globally and it is the winner of best British mobile startup in 2015, acquired by Chegg, Inc. in March 2017.

Kentico Software s.r.o., Brno

December 2012 – October 2015
Joined Kentico as the first senior UX Designer, responsible for establishing UX department (grown to 1 manager and 6 designers) and involving UX techniques in the agile development process. During the flagship product redesign, I was in charge of a visual styleguide of the new UI, later for doing research, prototyping, usability testing in both Cloud & SaaS and WebDev teams.I also founded and led company's Graphic Guild consisting of 4 graphic designers, where we together redefined the brand styleguide and had maintained a consistent visual language across the whole company including the marketing department.

Kentico CMS empowers more than 28,000 websites worldwide like Twinings, Sony, Mazda, Vodafone or Chiquita and within 18 months we increased SUS score from 60 to 73.

QCM s.r.o., Brno

March 2010 – November 2012
Conducting customer interviews, wireframing and prototyping, creating graphic design for websites and GUI for web-based applications, implementing HTML and CSS. After 14 months, I became a team leader of implementation department consisting of project managers, implementers, graphic designers and frontend developers (6-8 people).
